coverCourageous Hope

Sheri Hunt

Since we have such a [glorious] hope and confident expectation, we speak with great courage,

2 Corinthians 12:3 (AMP)

With so many changes in the world, hope teeters precariously between circumstances and faith.  Paul encountered these challenges on a daily basis on his missionary journeys.  He faced zealous religious opposition that threatened his freedom and his life. Yet hope instigated courage to speak boldly.

As we face a world of turbulent shifts in morality, religion, and politics, may know that the hope we have in the redemptive power of Christ outshines all other mystical philosophies.  And may we find the grace to proclaim the Gospel with great courage.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and encouragement and the good [well-founded] hope [of salvation] by His grace, comfort and encourage and strengthen your hearts [keeping them steadfast and on course] in every good work and word. (2 Thessalonians 2:16 AMP)
