I Shall Not Be Moved
Elizabeth Pavlov

Stanza VII
Then happy, singing on your way,
Your world will change from night to day;
Your heart will feel the message real,
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

I wonder if my personal GPS address is at the corner of Trial and Tribulation?
Challenges began early when I was a speck of stardust in my mother’s womb. The doctor said either my mother or I, or both, wouldn’t make it. The Lord proved the doctor wrong.

Years later, this lonely little girl heard a gentle knock. “Come in!” I cried. An unusual sacred trust overshadowed me and remains today.

The crazy world continues its amped up evil as it fights for the last breath. Hurricanes, earthquakes, mass shootings, suicide, Civil War, and the possibility of World War III weave darkness around me.

I shall not be moved.

Every morning I meet with The Mighty Counselor. I pour out my heart. In the stillness; I listen. His Word equips me with strength and assurance that He is still the One true God who created the heavens and the earth. Lovingly, He dissolves my biggest fears and calms my spirit. I belong to Him. Yes, the Light shines bright at the corner of Trial and Tribulation. Outside my window the symphony of the morning sings “God is in control.” Do you hear it too?

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NASB)
